On Hardwicke Mews we carved a secluded oasis into the core of London’s design hub. With soft greys gently undulating across the wave-like tiles, and nickel brassware, brushed to reveal its hidden warmth, we built a place for tranquillity to settle, to make its home. We worked with textures – the delicate grain of the cabinetry’s smoked veneer, the smooth surface of the vast porcelain plates – to create distinction within the unified, muted palette. Our concentration then wandered towards the form of the space, where lines became seamless and doors disappeared from view. Easy on the eye. Easy on the mind.
