On Harrow Road we assembled a new building on the site of a former metalworks factory. With large steel windows and an industrial stair core running up through the spine of the building, we brought design cues from the past to the present. By contrasting the harsh lines of the exterior, windows and kitchen with rolling circles throughout the furniture, we softened their angular forms. The round dining table – an original mid-century piece – exemplified this theme, with curved chairs slotting perfectly into place. We littered each room with brass, from the ironmongery to the art, to cut through the monochrome palette. A space constructed for the bustle of West London living.
