On Lordship Road we were at once inspired by the eclectic residents of Stoke Newington and, in particular, one artist whose local knowledge helped to shape the project. Just a short stroll away from the apartment we found print shops and collector’s troves bursting with vibrant art, dusty books and what-nots aplenty. We made use of this seemingly-infinite source to adorn the walls and surfaces, bringing the outside in - not just through the use of a verdant colour palette. With the artist’s advice in mind, we sought to weave the infectious culture of ‘Stokey’ into every room.
